Flight 77 Video

After more than four and a half years, the video of the alleged crash of American Airlines Flight 77 into the Pentagon on September 11, 2001 has finally been officially released, leaks notwithstanding, in response to a Freedom of Information Act request made by Judicial Watch, a public interest group.

Eyewitness accounts, previously leaked images, and the delay of the official release of the video have contributed to some degree of controversy regarding the veracity of the Flight 77 crash. Although the damage to the Pentagon was obvious, some sources claimed evidence and eyewitness accounts suggested the destruction may have been caused by the crash of a smaller plane or even a missile, and a cover-up. The discussion continues.
